Technician Position
Job Requirements
Cii Service is seeking individuals that want the opportunity to participate in the expansion and growth of our company. Cii Service, in business since 1964, is a multi-state Commercial, Industrial, Institutional air-conditioning, controls and energy management contractor. We provide commercial and industrial HVAC inspection/repair/overhaul services to a large contract base of customers throughout VA and NC. The applicant must have proven experience in commercial HVAC service, including performing hands on technical work in the field. In addition, the applicant must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, have superb communication skills, both verbal and written and have the technical knowledge and disposition to train new technicians as needed. Also, the applicant must assist as needed the activities of the Branch Office and its employees, maintain customer relations, estimating duties, schedule jobs and promote service sales.
Skills Required
Applicant must be proficient:
- Reading and understanding wiring diagrams,
- Diagnosing refrigerant and compressor system problems,
- Understanding duct and water systems,
- Recognizing potential problems,
- Understanding digital control systems,
- Recognizing inefficient operations and wasteful use of energy,
- Soldering and brazing and the use of oxygen acetylene torch,
- Using electrical meter, vacuum pump, and recovery machines.
