Service Manager
Cii Service, in business since 1964, is a multi-state Commercial, Industrial, Institutional HVAC service and controls contractor. Cii provides HVAC inspection/repair/overhaul services to a large contract base of customers throughout VA & NC. Cii Service is seeking a Service Manager with 7 years of commercial HVAC service.
Requirements / Duties
The applicant must have proven experience in commercial HVAC service, repairs and diagnostic skills, be able to work independently, as well as part of a team and have superb communication skills, both verbal and written. Also, act as Cii Service’s sales representative in the area to promote sale of Maintenance Agreements and other service work.
Should have leadership qualities and be able to work cooperatively with customers, employees, and others. Individual must use judgment and discretion in handling matters of delicate or confidential information.
The successful applicant will supervise the work of Service Technicians and in conjunction with this, perform service and maintenance work of highly technical nature. Review and approve Service Reports from the men he supervises. When requested to do so by Branch Manager, prepare preliminary estimates for proposals for service and/or repairs and maintain liaison with customers and others as detailed below.
Make personal contacts with customers to assure work done has been satisfactory. Survey customers’ equipment for potential preventative maintenance or scheduling needs.
Keep and maintain training materials and service literature acquired from manufacturers training classes and provided by Cii Service. Improve technical expertise through reading and studying available overhaul and service literature on equipment serviced.
